
As a catalyst to bring changes in the lives of children, youth, women and Senior Citizen, who are not privileged, by addressing the real need at the grassroots level MANAV KALYAN SEVA SAMITI was officially registered under societies registration act on 26-10-1988 with its headquarters located at KARAI, PO-DAIYA, TEHSIL-CHOPAL, and DISTT- SHIMLA Himachal Pradesh. The samiti is also known by nick name “SAI SEVA”. Samiti is actively engaged in different areas of work in various regions of the Himachal Pradesh overcoming all the short comings in their paths. The main aim of this Samiti is to empower underprivileged children, youth, women and senior citizen through relevant education, innovative healthcare and market-focused livelihood programmes.
Pushpa chauhan president of MANAV KALYAN SEVA SAMITI is working continuously for the betterment of the society and community by her innovative ideas and principles. Samiti have 16 members in panel of different age groups who regularly monitor and actively attend the meetings of the samiti.
Education is a national level programme from MANAV KALYAN SEVA SAMITI which focuses on basic education for underprivileged children and youth. MANAV KALYAN SEVA SAMITI have worked on various projects including many disciplines like healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights.
In the field of education SAMITI have been accredited by the National Open School, Government of INDIA to provide various vocational courses to the underprivileged section of the society at low cost or minimum benefits. These programmes have benefitted these section of society to become self reliable and prosper in the society. Samiti have conducted many projects in the chopal region of shimla district and main aim of these is to identify and work with the impoverished, weaker and vulnerable sections of the society to find solutions to the challenges threatening their lives with the ultimate aim of establishing an aware, responsible and developed society based upon equality, fraternity and social justice, ensuring sustainable and holistic development with emphasis on human rights.
